Local police are calling for help with one of the more odd reported thefts.
Geelong police are investigating the theft of a plant from the front of a Pakington Street shop in Geelong West in the early hours of Friday morning.

The thief, seen wearing ugg boots and a helmet, has been appropriately named the ‘Ugg Booted Helmeted Plant Thief’ by investigators, who have called for the publics assistance.
The theft occurred around 4.16am, with police releasing CCTV footage of the incident in the hope someone will have more information.
Any information on the incident should be reported to the Geelong police station.
