Geelong Council is searching for seasonal staff for its outdoor pools as the warmer weather moves closer.
The Lara pool is due to reopen on November 1, with the brand new Drysdale outdoor facility set to make its debut on the same day.
Councils across the region are now recruiting people to work in a range of areas including life guards, reception and admin.
Swim teachers are also in short supply, after many departed the industry in search of more reliable work during the pandemic.
The Drysdale pool, technically called the North Bellarine Aquatic Centre, features an eight-lane heated outdoor pool and change room in a landscaped environment.
Recruiting is also underway for the yet-to-be-completed Northern Aquatic and Community Hub, formerly known as Waterworld, which is due to open in 2024.
