A product recall has been issued on a few cups and glasses sold at Geelong’s Adventure Park.
The LED light-up items were sold between July 1 and December 16 last year, with the safety recall noting they don’t comply with the mandatory standards for similar products and don’t include the required warning
information.
The notice says batteries in the products are not appropriately secured and could be accessed by young children, with a the risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death.
An email was issued by Adventure Park staff on Wednesday afternoon.
“If you have purchased one of these items, you should dispose of these immediately and contact Adventure Park for a refund of the cup,” the email read.
“As these items are subject to a recall, they may pose a health risk to yourself or others, and we encourage you to remove them from use if you have purchased one of these items.”
