Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has made a quick trip to the region as he continues on the election trail.
Anthony Albanese was in Drysdale on Tuesday afternoon, pledging $5.45 million for the Drysdale Football & Netball Club is Labor is re-elected on May 3.
Member for Corangamite Libby Coker welcomed the news, saying it would go towards a new clubroom.
“And also importantly two new netball courts, which is going to mean this club will be compliant,” she said.
“It is going to mean the netball club can play finals, which they haven’t been able to do.
“We’ve also got spectator seating, which is new and we’re putting lighting in as well.”
Labor holds the seat by just over seven per cent.
