Anglesea balcony collapse injures eight people

Emergency services have responded to a balcony collapse in Anglesea.

Crews were called to the incident on O’Donohue Road around 2pm on Saturday.

Eight people had been eating lunch on the balcony when the balcony fell approximately 2.5 metres.

Three men, three women, and two teenage girls were transported by ambulance to Geelong University Hospital.

All were in a stable condition with minor injuries.
