Geelong’s Eureka Hotel and the Apollo Bay hotel have been banned from Australia Day celebrations.
The two venues will not acknowledge the event on Jaunary 26 this year.
The decision made by owners Australian Venue Co, who own more than 200 venues nationwide.

“Australia Day is a day that causes sadness for some members of our community, so we have decided not to specifically celebrate a day that causes hurt for some of our patrons and our team,” a spokesperson said.
