A pile of bricks have been found dumped in Bellbrae.
The Surf Coast Shire has taken to social media, saying someone dumped construction waste on Vickerys Road.
“At first the pile was larger and had some good quality bricks that could have been sold for actual cash money,” the council wrote.

“But between the time an officer first saw the pile and the crew got there to clean it up, someone else made it even worse by taking the good bricks and leaving behind the broken ones, along with a mess of scraped off mortar.”
The council said there was a transfer station less than 10km away from the dump site.
Anyone caught illegally dumping rubbish can be fined more than $1,900 by the council.
