A man has been arrested for stealing from two separate homes after being caught pushing a wheel barrow of goods up Pakington Street.
The man’s alleged to have stolen the wheelbarrow from a Candover Street home, then filled it up at a home on Hope Street.
“Police attended within two minutes and arrested the man found pushing the barrow up hill on Pakington Street,” a police spokesperson said.

“The man has been charged with burglary, theft, handle stolen goods, possess a controlled weapon and going equipped to steal.”
The man will face court in late April.
