More than $20,000 of purchases have been made on a stolen credit card across Geelong.

Police say a man stole a credit card in Wallington on September 26, before using it to buy electronic goods.

The purchases happened at Officeworks in Geelong’s CBD, JB Hi-Fi in Geelong and Waurn Ponds, and The Good Guys in Melbourne’s South Bank.

Officers have released images of a man they believe can help with their investigation.

Anyone who may have information or recognises the person pictured, are being urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, with reference number 240384654.
