A car fire near Werribee has spread to grassland.
Emergency services were called to Argoona Road, Quandong around 3.15am to reports a car had been dumped and torched.
They arrived to find the flames had spread, with the fire up to four hectares in size before it was brought under control just before 4am.

Crews stayed at the scene for several hours, mopping up and blacking out hot spots.
Police have been called for suspicious circumstances.
