Detectives are investigating reports of thefts from cars at Rippleside.
Registration plates were taken from one vehicle on Victoria Street in the early hours of October 12.
A man on Saint David St spooked two offenders on the same night, after finding them inside in car.

They ran off, and nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
Police believe another car was broken into on the same street sometime between the night of October 11 and morning of October 12.
