Earlier this week Liberal member for Polwarth Richard Riordan said under new legislation, Mr Cheeseman could be referred to an integrity commission if he continued to stay away from parliament.

“Continued unexplained absences from state parliament and not representing his constituents and not being there for a voice for Geelong region, would definitely qualify under the new legislation,” Mr Riordan said.
