A community information message remains in place for Meredith and surrounding areas for bird flu.
It follows the outbreak of the H7N3 strain of Avian Inlfuenza at an egg farm at Meredith last week.
Avian flu is highly contagious and that infects chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and quails.
Authorities have issued the information message for areas including Lethbridge, Bannockburn, Teesdale and Inverleigh.
They say all bird owners, including poultry producers and bird keepers, should be regularly checking their animals.
Movement controls are in place for the infected property, which has also been placed under quarantine.
It anyone suspects birds are sick, they are being urged to call their local vet or call the VicEmergency Hotline on 1800 226 226.
