A community vigil in Geelong’s been held to remember three local children who died due to a backyard shed fire in Corio.
As dusk descended on Rosewall Reserve last night not far from the site of the tragedy many of those present displayed orange, blue, yellow and purple in memory of children’s favourite colours.
Parents Kane McGregor and Jasmine Beck were present for the memorial to their deceased children; 18-month-old Ashlynn, 3-year-old Saige and 4-year-old Isaac.
Their 6-year-old sister Mavis remains in the Royal Children’s Hospital with critical injuries sustained during the fire last Sunday.
A GoFundMe page setup for the family to help pay for funeral and medical costs has passed $67,000.
