Crews called to early morning blaze

An early morning fire on Geelong’s waterfront is being treated as suspicious.

CFA and FRV crews were called to reports of a storage shed blaze on Eastern Beach Road just after 1am.

The incident was brought under control within 30 minutes, with up to eight fire vehicles on scene at one stage.

Police say no-one was inside the shed at the time of the fire.

Officers are investigating the cause, but say it is being treated as suspicious at this stage,
