Close to a dozen CFA units have been called to put out a massive grass fire in Leopold on Wednesday.
Crews were called to reports of the fire just before noon on Ashgarth Avenue, finding the grass fire measuring roughly 150 metres long by 50 metres wide.
Eleven CFA units from multiple local brigades attended the scene, along with support from FRV.

Firefighters worked quickly to contain the blaze, bringing it under control by 12:30pm.
Some crews are still on scene, with a community information message issued for smoke in the area.
