A factory fire in Derrimut may be under control but the dangers are not going away.
The environmental protection authority is warning locals to avoid contact with water in Laverton Creek as they investigate polluted water.
They’ve also warned locals to avoid areas where they can smell chemical odours.

The fire started on Wednesday, with close to 200 fire fighters attending the incident at one stage.
