An elderly man has been taken to hospital following a collision between a vehicle and train in Inverleigh.
Emergency services were called to Railway Street just after 3pm to reports the car and freight train had collided.
Ambulance Victoria says a man in his 80s, who was the driver and only person in the vehicle, was taken to University Hospital Geelong for upper body injuries.

The train driver was not injured.
Police are investigating and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
