Early morning fire being treated as suspicious

Police have been called in to a fire in Bell Park this morning.

FRV responded to a car fire threatening a home on Curtin Street in the early hours, getting the fire under control within 10 minutes.

“At 5.08am, Fire Rescue Victoria was called to an incident on Curtin Street at Bell Park after a caller to Triple Zero (000) reported a car fire threatening a house,” an FRV spokesperson said.

“Firefighters arrived and the scene was deemed Under Control at 5.17am.”

The fire is being treated as suspicious.
