Family of Wyndham Vale stabbing victim calls for end of violence

The family of a man stabbed in Wyndham Vale has begged for an end to violence in the community.

23-year-old Nathan Mwanza was fatally stabbed on Wednesday night at a bus stop on Haines Drive.

Police are still searching for the two offenders, his family searching for answers.

“He would never hurt a fly,” a family member said.

“He doesn’t like problems, he has no issues with anyone.”

“He was a gentle giant,” another said.

Friends and family attended the scene of the stabbing yesterday, laying flowers and expressing their grief at the loss.

Police have called for any information regarding the stabbing.
