Four hospitalised after nasty bus crash

Four people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving a bus in Geelong on Thursday evening.

The bus crashed through the intersection of Garden St and Ryrie St around 6pm, causing significant damage to the front of the vehicle and knocking over a powerpole.

Due to the damage there have been power outages reported around the East Geelong and Geelong area.

According to Powercor estimated restoration isn’t until 11.30pm.

Four people were assessed at the scene at taken to Geelong University Hospital, their condition is unclear at this stage.
