Police are investigating the theft of six firearms and three trucks from separate properties in Little River.

Detectives believe the ransacking of Narrabarra Road home where a MAN and Volvo prime mover were stolen, along with a DAF truck, occurred sometime between New Year’s Day and January 2.

Keys for each vehicle parked at the address are believed to have been used for theft.

Investigators are trying to determine if the burglary is linked to another break in at a Boadles Lane residence around the same time, that was also ransacked before a safe containing six registered firearms was stolen.

The weapons taken include an Emerald, Adler and Stirling shotgun, a Sturm Ruger 22, a Norica air rifle and a Savage rifle.

Police say fireplaces in each home were rummaged through by offenders.
