Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Ross Adams from the Armed Crime Squad said they know there were a number of people walking or riding bikes in the area on Sunday night.

“We’re really keen to speak to those people – even as witnesses,” he said.

“There might be something you noticed that night that seemed unusual, or even something you think might be inconsequential.

“This reckless use of a firearm has left one man with potentially life changing injuries.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who has knowledge of who was involved and what the motivation for the shooting might have been.”
