Labor is set to retain the seat of Werribee.
With votes continuing to be checked yesterday afternoon, John Lister holds a lead of around 600 votes.
Yesterday’s update had Lister with 21,323 after preferences, while Steve Murphy of the Liberals held 20,730.

While Labor holds the seat, the result does all but wipe out their 11 per cent lead from 2022.
The seat has not been held by a Liberal member since 1979.
