Locals are being reminded of the dangers this time of year brings for Asthmatics.

With Spring in full swing and the weather warming up, Ambulance Victoria is encouraging locals to ensure they have an asthma management plan in place, if they are susceptible to asthma attacks or hay fever.

“If it’s not a life-threatening emergency, then there are lots of resources people can get assistance from,” he said,

“Whether it’s from a local GP, the Victorian virtual emergency department or even attending a priority primary care clinic, or calling Nurse on Call.”

The Grass Pollen Forecast and the Thunderstorm Asthma risk for the Geelong region today are both considered low.
