A Hoppers Crossing man is among the latest group arrested in response to incidents at the Land Forces expo in Melbourne.
A 31-year-old arrested by the Bastion Taskforce and charged with affray over an altercation with a person attending the expo.
They’ve been bailed to attend court on November 21.
He’s the second local to be charged for their involvement in incidents outside the expo.
A Geelong West man was charged with arson and bailed to face court this month.
Police have also released the images of more people wanted for questioning over incidents.
“During the protests, which occurred outside the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, it’s alleged there were rocks, projectiles, liquid which smelt strongly of vomit, horse manure, eggs and liquid irritants hurled at police officers, horses, and expo attendees,” a statement reads.
“Several police horses and riders were allegedly splashed with a liquid irritant including being sprayed under face protectors, going into their mouths and nostrils, and were repeatedly pushed and hit with plastic crates.”
