Former Surf Coast-based Olympic champ Lydia Lassila will be inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame later this month.
She is one of seven new inductees, joining the likes of Kurt Fearnly, Tim Cahill and Johnathan Thurston.
Lydia was the first Australian to compete in five Winter Olympics, winning gold and bronze in aerial skiing.

She suffered a near career-ending knee injury at Torino in 2006, but return to win gold in Vancouver four years later.
A dinner will be held on October 16 in Sydney.
