A man has been arrested after an alleged aggravated burglary in Norlane, with a female offender still on the run.
It’s alleged the pair entered a Station Street home around 3pm on Thursday and demanded cash from the man inside.
A firearm was allegedly shot in the roof,though no injuries were reported.
A 20-year-old Bell Post Hill man was arrested and taken into custody, set to be interviewed by detectives after negotiating with police.
Police located a firearm at the property during their search, but have been unable to locate the female offender.
She remains on the run, and investigations are ongoing.
