A man’s been slapped with dozens of charges after an investigation into several commercial burglaries in Melbourne’s north-west.
The 36-year-old Altone North man is alleged to have committed burglaries at several locations including Hoppers Crossing, Point Cook and Derrimut.
Police say he stole items between August 11 and September 18, with officers searching the mans home on Tuesday.
Officers reportedly found a stolen vehicle and a number of other stolen items, and estimate the value of property damage and stolen items exceed $80,000.
Police have laid 44 charges against the Altona North man including 18 counts of burglary, theft-of-motor vehicle, criminal damage and theft.
He has been remanded to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ court on Monday.
