A Portarlington man has been charged, accused of stealing more than $800,000 from victims in online scams.
Police allege victims went to fake websites claiming to be legitimate financial institutions, offering investment opportunities.
The alleged incidents happened between June and September last year.

Detectives raided a Portarlington home on Tuesday, as part of their investigation and arrested a 63-year-old man.
He has since been charged with offences including obtaining property be deception and property suspected of being proceeds of crime.
The man has been bailed to face a Melbourne Court on September 25.
Investigations are continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
