A man has been charged with attempted murder, after an alleged stabbing in Whittington left a 47-year-old in a serious condition on Monday night.
Emergency services were called to Irwin Court around 7.30pm earlier this week to find the victim with stab wounds, the Whittington man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police at the time were unsure how the man came to be injured, launching an investigation and have since tracked down a 30-year-old North Geelong man.
He has since been arrested and charged with attempted murder and intentionally cause serious injury.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Geelong Magistrates Court on Monday.
