A man is dead and another is in police custody after a fatal stabbing at a resort in the Wyndham suburb of Point Cook.
Police and paramedics descended on the Season 5 Resort & Spa in Point Cook Road at around 3.30pm Sunday, after receiving reports that a man had been found suffering from knife wounds.
The ambulance helicopter was called in but the victim was unable to be saved.
Witnesses told Geelong Broadcasters a man was seen driving off as police arrived and gave chase.
Our newsroom has been told the man’s vehicle collided with a number of parked cars before police pinned him to the ground and arrested him.
A man is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
