Motorcyclist killed in Werribee

Police are appealing for dashcam footage following the death of a motorcyclist in Wyndham’s CBD.

The rider’s bike collided with a car in Station Place, near Werribee train station, just after 7.30pm on Tuesday.

The solo rider died at the scene.

Police are investigating the vause of the accident and are asking for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact them.

The fatality bring the number of lives lost on Victoria’s roads this year to 181, 35 more than at the same time in 2022.

24 motorcylists have been killed in road accidents in 2023, seven fewer than last year.
