The Borough of Queenscliffe has announced its new Councillor following the resignation of Fleur Hewitt.
Robert Minty will take over the position after the Victorian Electoral Commission held a countback of votes from the general election in October 2020.
Only those candidates who were unsuccessful at the general election and who were still eligible to be elected were included in the countback process.

Cr Minty was previously elected as Councillor in 2019 and served through to the end of term.
“Council welcomes Rob Minty back to the Borough of Queenscliffe,” Mayor Isabelle Tolhurst said.
“We look forward to his contributions in the chamber and wish him well for the remainder of the term.”
