TWO young men have been arrested after reportedly riding their dirt bikes dangerously through Geelong’s northern suburbs on Monday afternoon.
Police say the pair aged 21 and 20-years-old were seen on the unregistered bikes through suburban streets in Norlane and Corio around 1.30pm.

Officers were able to swiftly arrest the men nearby, both were slapped with several dangerous driving charges and will face court.
“We wish to thank members of the public who assisted with information and implore people who have information about these sorts of ‘street menaces’ to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000,” Snr Sgt Aaaron Riches said.
“The information received will always be acted on and in every instance we will seek to have the bikes crushed/destroyed.”

On that occasion, the rider was seen running through a red light at Barwon Heads Road and speeding on Breakwater Road towards St Albans Park.
Police said that same rider also has an orange bike and commits similar offending around Thomson, Breakwater and St Albans Park areas.
It’s unclear if Monday’s arrest was linked to the rider seen in October.
