Airservices Australia has confirmed plans have been submitted for Santa’s journey to Geelong next week.
Red One will begin his trip in New Zealand before entering Australian airspace for the journey on Tuesday night.
Raveena Carroll-Kenney from Airservices Australia says he will be tracked closely to make sure no issues arise.
“With state-of-the-art surveillance technology tracking his sleigh twice every second, Santa can count on us to ensure a safe and efficient journey,” she said.
“The details of his route, of course, remain classified as Top Secret Santa (TSS) business,” he said.
Airservices Interim CEO Rob Sharp said they would be putting in extra work to protect Santa across his journey.
“Santa will be in excellent hands this festive season,” he said.
“Our team will expertly guide him through tight turns, descents, and even the occasional rooftop skim to ensure he reaches every child on time.
“Now, all that’s left is for everyone to get to bed early on Christmas Eve so Santa can do his work.”
Santa’s journey will be able to be tracked on their Faceook on Christmas Eve
