A man has been stabbed in a road rage incident in Tarneit.
It happened just after midday yesterday on Sayers Road, with the victim cut off in traffic.
It’s believed the two cars then pulled over and an altercation broke out, with an unknown man stabbing the victim.
“The victim, who was driving a Grey Nissan Altima, and the unknown vehicle, thought to be a blue sedan, both pulled over to the side of the road,” a statement from police media said.
“Officers have been told both drivers exited their vehicles, before the unknown male driver stabbed the victim in the stomach.
“The 30-year-old Hoppers Crossing man managed to drive himself to a nearby medical facility and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.”
Police are calling on anyone with information to contact crimestoppers.
