Police will probe the cause of a shop fire in Hoppers Crossing in the early hours of Friday morning
Emergency services were called to a tobacconists on Hogans Road about 4am after reports the store was on fire, with a community advice message issued for smoke in the area.
Fire crews worked to bring the blaze under control by about 5.30am, before handing the scene over to police.

An arson chemist will attend later in the day to determine the cause, but at this stage the fire is being treated as suspicious.
