Police believe a Molotov cocktail has been thrown at a car in Whittington in the early hours.
Emergency services found the vehicle well alight when they were called to Agena Court around 12.45am.
It appears a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the driver’s side window, with an offender driving off on Solar Drive in a small hatch.

Police are trying to work out the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
They are asking for anyone with information, CCTV or dash cam footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
