Werribee police have impounded a Harley Davidson after its rider was allegedly clocked doing over double the speed limit.
A 31-year-old man was said to be doing 143kmh in a 60 zone on the Princes Highway in Hoppers Crossing between Sneydes and Derrimut Road around 12:40am overnight.
He’s facing offences of dangerous driving and exceed speed limit.

The alleged speeding offences will also incur fees of $1,006 for having the bike impounded for 30 days.
