A local festival is warning of scams going around targeting fans.
Organisers of the Queenscliff Music Festival say they are aware of fake social media pages, sending out friend requests to followers.
They say the festival does not sent out request, and are urging followers not to accept those requests.

If anyone is unsure, they are being encouraged to check the number of followers the page claims to have.
The festival is being held between November 22 and 24 this year.
Artists to take to the stage include Michael Franti & Spearhead, Xavier Rudd, The Wiggles South System and Kasey Chambers.
