Small business bus headed for region

Local businesses will get the opportunity to benefit from the state’s small business bus.

The program will be in Geelong starting on February 26 to provide advice to owners and those looking to start a small business in Geelong.

The bus will be at Eastern Beach Road on the waterfront.

Member for Geelong Christine Couzens said it would be great assistance to locals.

“With 22 per cent of the state’s small businesses located in regional Victoria, the Small Business Bus plays an important role in connecting regional communities to services that help build and grow their businesses,” she said.

“Victoria is proudly home to over 700,000 small businesses that make up 97 per cent of all Victorian businesses.

“Small businesses make a significant contribution to communities, local jobs, and the Victorian economy.”

Minister for Small Business Natalie Suleyman said the bus has a proven record of assisting our businesses.
