A surfer has been rescued from a rock after getting into trouble in the water at Jan Juc.
It happened on Saturday morning while the 21-year-old was out in the water with four mates.
Police believe the St Leonards man began to struggle against the conditions, and was pushed to the rocks near the car park, where he managed to climb onto a rock.

The police helicopter was called and the surfer winched to safety.
He was not injured and police say he was in good spirits when he was reunited with his mates.
