An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder over the death of a man in Geelong on Friday morning last week.
The teenager from Belmont was arrested in Ocean Grove on Tuesday and interviewed by police on Wednesday morning.
It comes as 40-year-old Geelong man Paul Grapsas was found dead along Malone Street near his Western Beach Road home about 4am Friday morning.
It’s believed Grapsas left his Western Beach Road property about 11pm the night before to walk his dog, before being found by his wife hours later.
He had been assaulted and sadly had passed away by the time he was located.
The Belmont teen has been charged with murder and will face Geelong Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators are asking anyone who lives in the area or was driving through to please contact police if they have any CCTV or dash cam footage.
