A man’s been taken to hospital following an incident involving a freight train in North Geelong on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to Corio Quay Rd around 12.30pm, where it’s understood the man had forced the train to stop.
Paramedics said the man in his 30’s was taken to Geelong hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries, after crews worked to safely remove him from the tracks.

The incident caused traffic to be banked up around the North Geelong for around 90 minutes, with congestion since easing heading into peak hour.
The incident isn’t being treated as suspicious.
