Investigations continue after a man crashed his car through a fence and on to the rail line in North Geelong.
Police say they were called to the railway lines near Church Street around 2pm on Saturday, where they believe the man had lost control of his vehicle.
There are no reports of injury from the collision.
The driver had been heading north on the Princes Hwy prior to the accident, that prevented V/Line trains running along the track for several hours and required coaches to be brought in to move passengers.
Police say they’ve spoken to the driver, and they’re continuing to investigate the incident.
Delays of up to 30 minutes continued on the rail line once trains returned after 5pm.
