A local MP is worried a rail bridge north of Geelong is becoming a target for vandals.
Liberal member for Western Victoria Bev McArthur said the historic viaduct at Moorabool was being damaged.
She said there was also a safety risk as people get through broken security fences to access dangerous walkways.
“VicTrack and Co seem to want to do nothing about it,” Ms McArthur said.
“Local constituents have told me they’ve contacted them and nothing gets done, the access is not stopped.”
Ms McArthur said without controlled access to the site, she was worried there could be an accident.
The matter has been raised in state parliament, with the local MP calling on Transport Infrastructure Minister Danny Pearson to intervene.
