Several towns on the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast are considered the perfect place to live, according to new research.
Researchers from Monash University have released their Environmental Quality Health Index, rating towns based on factors including air quality and weather.
The researchers say all factors can impact a person’s health.

Local towns including Barwon Heads, Winchelsea and Anglesea achieved perfect scores of 100.
They were among 36 areas to receive the perfect scores.
