Wyndham man charged over train push

A Wyndham man accused of pushing a woman onto train tracks in Melbourne has been charged.

The alleged incident happened at Richmond Train Station on Wednesday afternoon.

A 64-year-old woman was not seriously injured and was pulled back onto the platform by two Good Samaritans.

Police arrested a 54-year-old Werribee man on Thursday morning.

He has since been charged with offences including conduct endangering life, conduct endangering serious injury and unlawful assault.

The man has also been charged in relation to alleged burglaries in Footscray in May and June, and an aggravated burglary in Southbank in the early hours of Thursday.

He has been remanded to face court on July 12.
