Geelong’s AFLW side will be looking to bounce back from an elimination final loss last season, as it prepares for a rematch against North Melbourne at Kardinia Park.
The Kangaroos are currently sitting on top of the ladder while the Cats are fourth.
Coach Dan Lowther said this evening’s match would give the local women a good of idea of where they were at.

“We just need to be making sure our game is on from the start and follow those opportunities,” he said.
“Our mids are starting to gel as well, but they’re nowhere near the experienced group that North Melbourne are.”
The game gets underway at 5.05pm.
